The plan above show some of the structures on a mound on a promentary just E of Oban an Innseanaich.
It is a complex site on a mound including a large rectangular enclosure on a sub-peninsula, various boundary dykes and several building built one on top of each other. Clearly several periods are involved. One possible interpretation for the rectangular building with a circular structure on the W end in the plan above and central in the image below is that of a kiln-barn with an attached corn-kiln. Perhaps part of an illegal but remote still?!
